Key Highlights:

  • New drill results confirm high-grade gold extensions at the San Antonio West target.
  • Notable intercepts include 62.40 g/t Au over 1.00m and 8.81 g/t Au over 2.10m.
  • Drilling footprint now stretches 500m along strike and 260m down dip.
  • Ongoing 30,000m drill program continues at True North with assays pending.

1911 Gold Corporation (TSXV: AUMB | OTCBB: AUMBF) has delivered a promising update from its True North project in southeastern Manitoba, with the latest drill results at the San Antonio West (“SAM West”) target reinforcing the company’s view that the zone hosts multiple, high-grade gold shoots with significant potential for future underground mining.

The company reported strong intercepts from eight additional drill holes totaling 1,371 metres, including standout hits such as:

  • 62.40 g/t Au over 1.00 metre (TN-25-037)
  • 8.81 g/t Au over 2.10 metres, including 19.20 g/t over 0.60 metres (TN-25-035)
  • 6.84 g/t Au over 3.70 metres, including 12.40 g/t over 1.40 metres (TN-25-045)

The recent drilling confirms mineralization continuity over 500 metres in strike and 260 metres in vertical depth, within the historically prolific San Antonio mafic unit. According to President and CEO Shaun Heinrichs, these results not only expand the mineralized footprint but also link the San Antonio mine area with the Cartwright resource to the west—potentially unlocking a large-scale underground target.

“This round of drilling is particularly exciting as it shows increasing grades and multiple vein systems developing to depth,” Heinrichs stated. “It confirms SAM West as a parallel structure to the main San Antonio Mine and bolsters our underground resource expansion strategy.”

Drilling Unlocks New Zones and Depth Potential

Drill hole TN-25-037 delivered a cluster of high-grade zones, including 8.73 g/t Au over 1.00 metre, 6.09 g/t Au over 0.70 metre, and a broader interval of 4.17 g/t Au over 4.50 metres. Meanwhile, TN-25-045 intersected three mineralized zones, indicating stacked vein systems which could support future multi-level mining.

In total, 13 holes totaling 2,099 metres have now been completed on the SAM West target. Assays from an additional seven holes (1,940 metres) are pending, including one 400-metre deep hole currently underway.

The ongoing program is part of a broader 30,000-metre drill initiative through 2025, targeting high-potential zones around the True North Mine complex. Two rigs are actively drilling on site.

The SAM West target lies just 300 metres west of the historically mined San Antonio zone, which produced over 1.3 million ounces at 9.33 g/t Au. Recent drilling confirms the presence of up to three vein zones within the gabbro host rock, echoing the geological characteristics of the original San Antonio Mine orebody.

1911 Gold has been methodically stepping out from known zones, reconnecting historic workings, and leveraging its fully permitted True North mill, tailings facility, and camp—an infrastructure advantage that could significantly shorten time to production.

Next Steps and Outlook

With drilling progressing, the company is now preparing for underground drill testing, backed by a recent Manitoba Mineral Development Fund grant and successful re-entry into the historic mine infrastructure.

Concurrently, 1911 Gold continues to advance development plans at the Ogama-Rockland deposit, located 25 km east of True North. This asset, containing a 43-101 resource, is now under review for redevelopment as part of the company’s longer-term growth strategy.

Despite a recent pullback in share price—trading at $0.20, down 11.1% on the day—the market appears to be overlooking the broader value proposition. With a fully owned mill, growing resource base, and a well-funded, active exploration pipeline, 1911 Gold is quietly building the foundation for a district-scale revival in Manitoba’s Rice Lake greenstone belt.
