  • $35.6M raised to back aggressive Côte d’Ivoire exploration strategy

Aurum Resources Ltd (ASX: AUE) has once again ignited market interest with fresh high-grade gold intercepts from its flagship Boundiali Gold Project in Côte d’Ivoire, reinforcing its rapid emergence as a key West African gold play. The company reported shallow, broad mineralisation from recent diamond drilling at the BD tenement, including standout results of 34 metres at 2.32 grams per tonne gold (g/t Au) from 56 metres and 48 metres at 1.27 g/t Au from 73 metres.

These assays, part of a 14-hole, 4,992-metre program, are designed to convert Inferred Resources to Indicated and extend known zones. With mineralisation remaining open along strike and at depth, Aurum is intensifying efforts through an ambitious 100,000m drilling program in CY2025, supported by an in-house fleet of up to 10 rigs.

Managing Director Dr. Caigen Wang highlighted the results’ strategic value: “We’re steadily upgrading confidence in our 1.59Moz maiden MRE and preparing the groundwork for meaningful resource growth in 2025.” The next mineral resource update is expected by July 2025, with a follow-up due later in the year encompassing broader regional targets including BM and BST prospects.

In parallel, Aurum will launch a 30,000m drill program at its nearby Napié project, which hosts a 0.87Moz MRE, beginning mid-June. The company is targeting a consolidated 2.5Moz gold base to support a Pre-Feasibility Study for the Boundiali Project by year-end.

Backed by a recent $35.6 million private placement, Aurum is well-capitalised to execute its dual-pronged resource expansion plan. The company’s aggressive pace, robust assay pipeline, and scalable Côte d’Ivoire footprint position it as one of the more dynamic small-cap gold explorers on the ASX.

With drilling still underway and multiple assays pending, all eyes remain on Boundiali’s evolving gold story.
