Marquee Resources Limited (ASX: MQR) has taken a major leap forward with the announcement of its maiden Inferred Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) for the Redlings Rare Earth Element (REE) Project in Western Australia. The estimate, which delineates 11 million tonnes (Mt) at 1,130 ppm Total Rare Earth Oxides (TREO), highlights the project’s exceptional potential as a globally significant source of critical minerals.
Executive Chairman Charles Thomas expressed confidence in the project's future, stating, "This maiden estimate is a transformative milestone for Marquee Resources Limited (ASX: MQR). With over 12,400 tonnes of contained REO, Redlings positions us as a front-runner in advancing sustainable critical mineral supply chains."
The Redlings Project offers substantial opportunities for resource expansion. A Global Exploration Target surrounding the current resource ranges from 204 to 306Mt at 950–1,130 ppm TREO, indicating the potential for a 13-fold increase in scale through wide-spaced infill drilling.
High-grade REE zones at the edges of the mineralized prospects provide promising targets for future exploration. Auger geochemistry and magnetic signatures further underscore the area's prospectivity, particularly the high-magnetic biotite-hornblende monzogranite lithology.
Located near Leonora, Western Australia, the Redlings Project spans approximately 108 square kilometers. Its proximity to infrastructure and established mining operations enhances its strategic importance. Additionally, the project's geological setting, with intersecting regional-scale faults and high-grade REE dykes, positions it as a prime candidate for sustained resource growth.
The project benefits from its alignment with global demand for critical minerals, particularly those essential for clean energy and advanced technologies.
Marquee Resources Limited (ASX: MQR) remains committed to delivering long-term value through ongoing exploration and resource expansion. The company’s focus on linking existing high-grade intercepts and identifying new mineralized zones underscores its confidence in the project's scalability.
Thomas added, "Our exploration strategy not only validates the exceptional potential of Redlings but also enhances value for our shareholders as we unlock new opportunities."
With a clear path for resource growth and a strategic focus on sustainability, the Redlings Project is poised to become a cornerstone of Marquee Resources Limited (ASX: MQR) portfolio. As exploration advances, the company aims to solidify its position as a leader in the critical minerals sector, contributing to the global supply chain for rare earth elements.
