Key Highlights:

  • Deepest gold intercept to date at Zone 1 returns 4.10 g/t Au over 7.1m
  • Mineralization remains open at depth, suggesting strong continuity
  • Multiple holes confirm eastern and western extensions with promising widths
  • Assay results add momentum to Opus One’s winter drill campaign in Abitibi

Montreal, June 10, 2025 – Opus One Gold Corp (TSX-V: OOR) continues to deepen investor interest with another strong drilling update from its 100%-owned Noyell Project, located near Matagami in Quebec’s prolific Abitibi Greenstone Belt. The junior explorer today announced a significant intercept of 4.10 g/t gold over 7.1 metres (true width ~5.5m) from hole NO-25-13—marking the deepest gold-bearing zone drilled at the project to date.

The result, extending mineralization to a vertical depth of 550 metres, is a pivotal confirmation that Zone 1 remains open at depth, hinting at untapped potential in this emerging system. The hole was collared approximately 125 metres east of previous hole NO-25-05, and reveals what the company believes may be a steeply raking vector of high-grade gold trending eastward.

Eastern Depths Show Strength, Western Extensions Encouraging

Opus One's winter 2025 drill campaign is focused on testing the vertical and lateral extent of Zone 1. While hole NO-25-13 has stolen the headlines for its depth and grade, other intercepts also highlight a persistent mineralized footprint.

Hole NO-25-12, an infill hole nearly 200m east of NO-25-10a, returned 2.24 g/t Au over 6.6m (true width ~5.5m) at ~175m vertical depth, reinforcing the continuity of gold mineralization along strike.

Hole NO-25-10a, closer to surface on the western extension, yielded 2.63 g/t Au over 3.2m and 1.54 g/t over 2.2m, while hole NO-25-11, drilled 100m above it, delivered 1.56 g/t over 1.8m—all indicating that gold persists westward with room for further definition.

CEO Louis Morin noted:

“Hole NO-25-13, the deepest drilled on the property to date, opens new horizons for Zone 1. It confirms mineral continuity from surface to 550m and suggests a new vector plunging steeply east.”

Strategic Significance: Depth, Continuity, and Location

The latest results place Opus One in a promising position within the Abitibi—a belt responsible for producing over 200 million ounces of gold. With proximity to infrastructure and producing mines, and now demonstrating vertical continuity with open-ended mineralization, Opus One’s Noyell Project is maturing into a high-value exploration story.

The high-grade nature of NO-25-13, especially at depth, is particularly significant. Deep continuity often signals robust structural control and potential for scalable underground mining opportunities—a factor that can elevate exploration-stage juniors to development-ready candidates.

What It Means for Investors

The strong intercepts bolster confidence in Zone 1's depth potential, improving the project's exploration profile. Investors should note:

  • A pattern of consistent mineralization east and west of historical holes
  • Structural interpretation pointing to a possible high-grade vector
  • Continued success could position Opus One as a takeover target or JV opportunity

Moreover, additional assays are pending, and should they support today’s findings, the market could re-rate the stock accordingly.

Technical and QA/QC Assurances

All drilling was conducted using NQ core size, with core processing, sampling, and splitting handled at Technominex facilities in Rouyn-Noranda. Analytical services were provided by AGAT Laboratories, employing 50g fire assays with ICP-OES finish, and gravimetric finish for values ≥10 g/t Au. Opus One maintains a rigorous QA/QC program, inserting certified blanks and standards after every nine regular samples.

Importantly, data disclosure has been verified by Pierre O’Dowd, P.Geo, a qualified person under NI43-101 standards.

With further results anticipated, Opus One is steadily building a case for a substantial resource at Noyell. The combination of grade, depth, and structural coherence enhances the project's geological narrative, and positions the company well amid rising gold prices and increased interest in Tier-1 Canadian mining jurisdictions.
