Prospech Limited (ASX: PRS) has delivered outstanding assay results from its Korsnäs Rare Earth Elements (REE) project in Finland, confirming extensive high-grade mineralisation. With peak TREO values hitting 4.6%, Korsnäs is emerging as a strategic asset for Europe’s critical mineral supply chain.
Managing Director Jason Beckton emphasized the significance of these results, stating:
“Korsnäs is now recognized as a significant REE project. The consistency of high-grade mineralisation, along with heavy rare earth enrichment, strengthens our confidence in its long-term value.”
Recent assays have revealed multiple high-grade intercepts, reinforcing the continuity of mineralisation at depth and along strike:
These intercepts highlight the richness of the deposit, confirming that Korsnäs remains open for further expansion both along strike and at depth.
With the global shift towards securing critical mineral resources, Korsnäs stands out as a key REE asset in Europe. The project’s heavy rare earth enrichment makes it particularly valuable, given the increasing demand for Terbium and Dysprosium in high-performance magnets and green energy technologies.
Prospech is now proceeding with an updated Mineral Resource Estimate, leveraging these final assay results. Additionally, the company is progressing metallurgical testwork in collaboration with the University of Oulu and GTK Mintek, under the EU-backed REMHub initiative.
