SKYX Platforms Corp. (NASDAQ: SKYX) has announced a landmark collaboration with a $3 billion mixed-use smart city project in Miami, positioning its plug & play smart home platform technologies at the core of one of the most ambitious urban developments in Florida history.
Set in Miami’s Little River District, the 63-acre project—led by SG Holdings, a joint venture between Swerdlow Group, SJM Partners, and Alben Duffie—will feature over 5,700 residential units, 350,000 square feet of commercial space, and expansive green walkways, bike paths, and a $35 million Tri-Rail station.
SKYX is slated to deploy more than 500,000 smart tech units across the development, delivering a fully integrated ecosystem of intelligent features including AI-enabled ceiling outlets, lighting, smart thermostats, smoke detectors, voice control systems, and emergency services integration.
CEO Rani Kohen described the initiative as a "new standard" for urban living: “Our smart platform is designed to transform the infrastructure of cities—making homes safer, smarter, and connected.” Backed by U.S. and global manufacturers, SKYX’s rollout will span luxury and affordable housing alike, offering advanced tech once reserved for premium developments to a broader demographic.
Khadija Mustafa, Senior Technology Advisor and former Global AI leader at Microsoft, said the project ushers in “a new era of intelligent living,” noting that “SKYX is unlocking a gateway for AI-enabled services that will redefine how we live, work, and connect.”
In addition to product deployment, SKYX expects long-term revenue streams via software upgrades, subscriptions, and service integrations. The company already holds over 97 global patents and operates more than 60 home décor websites, reinforcing its vertical reach in smart home solutions.
Investor sentiment has responded positively. SKYX shares rose 2.37% to $1.5047, with volume spiking to over 961,000, more than double the average, highlighting market enthusiasm for SKYX’s expansion into infrastructure-scale smart tech.
As Miami reinvents its urban identity, SKYX appears poised to become a cornerstone of the city’s transformation, fusing innovation, affordability, and AI into the blueprint of future living.
