Projects
1️. Zopkhito Antimony-Gold Project (Georgia, Europe)
📍 Location: Upper Racha, Georgia – part of the Tethyan Metallogenic Belt
🔹Resource Estimate: 225Kt @ 11.6% Sb = 26000 tonnes (contained Sb) + 7.1Mt @ 3.7g/t gold = 815,119 Oz of Gold
🔹Project Highlights:
✅High-grade antimony in a supply-constrained market
✅Extensive historical exploration – 27km of underground adits & 20,000+ geochemical samples
✅Infrastructure-ready – rail, road, and port access for future exports
✅Geopolitical advantage – strategically located for EU and Central Asia markets
Ownership: Krakatoa Resources holds an option to acquire 80% ownership of the Zopkhito Project.
Location: Situated in the Racha region of Georgia, Eastern Europe, approximately 170 km from Kutaisi, which is connected by rail to Georgia's western ports.
License: The project encompasses 1,779 hectares under a 30-year mining and exploration license.
Historical Exploration: Between 1929 and 1979, extensive exploration was conducted, including over 27 km of exploration drives (adits), more than 20,000 channel samples, comprehensive mapping, and preliminary metallurgical testing.
Metals: The project is primarily prospective for antimony and gold, with potential for other base metal sulfides.
Geology: Located within the Great Caucasus Thrust Belt, the mineralization consists of narrow quartz-stibnite veins hosted by carbonaceous shales and slates, accompanied by a broader hydrothermal alteration zone rich in gold-bearing arsenopyrite.
Resource Estimates: Historical data indicates a foreign mineral resource estimate of approximately 26,000 tonnes of antimony and over 800,000 ounces of gold. However, these figures are based on non-JORC compliant estimates, and no drilling has been conducted to date.
Infrastructure: The proximity to Kutaisi provides access to rail infrastructure linking to Georgia's western ports, facilitating potential future development and export opportunities.

2️. Mt Clere REE & Niobium Project (Western Australia)
📍 Location: Gascoyne Province, WA
🔹 Focus: Rare Earth Elements (REEs) & Niobium
🔹 Exploration Highlights:
✅ Significant REE potential confirmed by recent drilling
✅ Proximity to existing REE production zones
✅ Advanced-stage metallurgical testing underway
Key Highlights of the Mt Clere Rare Earth Project
Ownership: Krakatoa Resources holds 100% ownership under direct applications.
Location: Situated approximately 200 km northwest of Meekatharra, Western Australia, covering an area of 1,060 km².
Metals: Prospective for Rare Earth Elements (REE), Heavy Mineral Sands, and Nickel-Copper-Cobalt-Platinum Group Elements (Ni-Cu-Co-PGEs). ktaresources.com
Tower REE Resource:
Metallurgical Recoveries: Achieved recoveries of up to 64% for Neodymium (Nd) and 61% for Praseodymium (Pr) using simple extraction techniques, comparable to other globally significant clay-hosted REE projects. ktaresources.com
Discovery Opportunities: The project area shows considerable prospectivity for REE, gold, and intrusion-hosted sulphide deposits, with six areas of interest identified for future exploration. ktaresources.com
Project Geology: Located on the northwestern margins of the Yilgarn Craton, the tenements cover regions of structural complexity within dense rocks of the Narryer Terrane, which contains some of the oldest known rocks in Australia (circa 3,730 million years).
The Mt Clere Project represents a significant opportunity for Krakatoa Resources, with its substantial REE resource, promising metallurgical results, and multiple exploration targets indicating strong potential for future development.
